We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide technical leadership and help us save more lives As CTO you outline Xolaris’ technology strategy, secure the right technology use in products and solutions supporting the market needs and Xolaris’ growth strategy and profitability targets. You ensure that the technical resources and required competences are aligned with the company's technology and business vision and needs. You will be responsible for the technology department, securing an efficient workflow leading to high quality in both products and projects. With your help we identify improvement areas within the development organization to ensure effective and efficient resources management. You ensure the succession plan for key competences to secure uninterrupted development capabilities. Other responsibilities include interaction with customers whenever requested to obtain input into Xolaris products and solutions developments. Together with Xolaris sales and operations organizations you evaluate, define and deliver new and innovative products/solutions and enhancements/features. When needed you identify, qualify, and select national and foreign technology partners.
You are a member of the Xolaris Management Team and report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). CTO leads a team of Solution Architects, System Architects, Software Developers, Technical Experts, RD Integration Testing Engineers and a Quality Assurance Manager.
Our solutions Our solutions are working in interplay with state-of-the-art mobile network infrastructure. Whether it is about supporting rural deployments with 3G or ultra-dense high performing 5G networks, our solutions needs to take all possible network functions into account and leverage those into value creating functions and features for our customers, saving lives. When working with our technology department, you will encounter microservice archectures in interplay with network nodes, NoSQL big data architectures with performance optimized query applications, mission critical monitoring and high security requirements. In addition, our customers are very demanding needing us to maximze the use of cutting edge technologies at hand. We are proud of our technology stack today and much more development and innovation lies ahead.
Requirements and skills You have a Master of Science in Engineering – preferably in Applied Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Telecommunications or similar. From earlier positions you have gained experience in senior management, research and development (RD) management and managing geographically distributed teams. You thrive in situations where you are challenged to critical thinking, take an innovative approach, problem solving and decision making.
