Kaunis Iron operates the iron ore mine in Pajala. We do it with respect, commitment and curiosity for both people and the environment. We need to strengthen our mining operations with competence and experience from primarily open pit mining operations and are now looking for a number of senior resources with long and solid experience from, among other things, mine planning and production. Experience from mining where subcontractors are part of the production chain is important as we have many partners in our mine.
We are looking for both specialists and generalists with experience from leading positions in open pit mining operations. You probably have a civil engineering degree with a focus on the mining industry and at least 10 years of production experience in opencast mining. Special skills and experience from green field projects and long-term planning are meritorious as we are facing expansion in new open pits in the coming years and need to optimize operations in current open pits.
We believe that you will have worked/are working in the mining industry - in Sweden or abroad. Through your long experience, you have had time to acquire experience from both a strategic and operational perpspective at a detailed level.
