About the position

LKAB is a leader in the transformation of our industry towards a sustainable future. An important business development focus is to create value from our secondary products and in connection with that build for the future, which includes developing, building, and deploying new industries. Thus, it is required that the business area is at the forefront of modern information management and an important part of this is to own and take advantage of valuable information in real time about how machines and processes work and support the business with this. We want to strengthen our innovative and creative team with a driving force in the work of managing digital information throughout the design process and to in the commissioned facility. The Asset Information Manager is responsible for developing strategies and building the structure for this work. You own the digital information and drive the development towards integrated systems for plant management, process control, decision support, documentation, and training.

One of several important projects right now is the ReeMAP project www.ree-map.com which extracts apatite from waste materials and produces mineral fertilizers, rare earth elements and gypsum for the construction industry. You are responsible for ensuring that information is handled from the early stages of projects to the construction phase, in commissioning and management. You have an important role and collaborate with both external consultants and functions within LKAB in pre-study work, projects, commissioning, and management.

The project group is based in Luleå https://youtu.be/yW_ZvCcLGgE which is the optimal location, although alternative placement may be considered.


Your qualifications

You have relevant technical university education and several years of experience in developing strategy and structure regarding digital information management in both the design process, construction phase and for construction in operation. You have good knowledge in 3D modeling and use of CAD / BIM tools (For example AutoCAD, Revit, MagicCAD, Navisworks) and good knowledge in information management of plant information via PLM systems (For example Sitebase and Cadmatic). Experience of management and digital information management in production facilities, as well as project management in the field is meritorious.

Since the work involves many contacts both internally and externally, it is important that you as a person thrive in a central role where you collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive and flexible way, and where your ability to create and maintain trusting relationships comes in handy. You have a good communicative ability and master both Swedish and English both spoken and written. The role involves both split up and analyzing complex problems as well as being able to take a holistic perspective and look at the long-term significance and further consequences of things and adapt the work to this. A systematic and independent way of working is a prerequisite.

The service requires a B driving license as travel may occur.
