You will be the technical point person for the Data Center Automation sales organization Europe, providing technical solutions and advice on ABB products, systems and applications for end customers and ABB Channel Partners.

In this role, you will support the regional sales teams and customers by advising on technical options and cost-effective solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Helping to prepare the technical and financial aspects of offers, including pricing and trading conditions
• Conducting Datacenter Automation System Demo’s and POC’s for end customers and Channel Partners/System Integrators
• Conducting Datacenter Automation, technical sales and engineering trainings for Partners
• Supporting the sales team by providing advice on technical solutions, products, systems and applications
• Performing evaluations and analysis to make improvement recommendations based on customers’ needs
• Contributing technical details and perspectives in at various stages, and delivering technical presentations, drawings and demonstrations of complex systems issues

Your background

• 7 years of experience in process industry, Energy industry or Data Center industry working as Lead engineer/Systems engineer with DCS/Scada/PLC solutions for BMS/EPMS/EMS/PMS systems
• Previous experience from working in technical sales is meriting
• Sound knowledge of Data Center automation and the DCS market
• Knowledge of ABB Ability 800xA Distributed Control System
• A BSc/MSc degree in Engineering/Computer Science or other relevant technical field is meriting
• Proficiency in English is a requirement
