We are seeking a dynamic and experience HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving, developing, and safeguarding health, safety, and environmental standards. Your primary tasks will involve conducting regular investigations of the work environment, meticulously assessing and evaluating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, where continuous improvement is a key focus, and who is adept at addressing a variety of workplace issues.

Responsibilities:

Ensure strict adherence to HSE legislation and regulations. Actively participate in construction meetings, providing valuable insights and contributions. Maintain a high level of awareness, knowledge, and readiness within the workplace. Conduct thorough safety and environmental inspections, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions. Regularly report incidents related to health, safety, and the environment, ensuring timely resolution. Perform comprehensive risk analyses and oversee the timely implementation of action plans. Effectively communicate and highlight deficiencies in HSE practices, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in similar roles within the field of health, safety, and environment.

Proven track record of successfully driving and implementing HSE initiatives in various work environments.

In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation and regulations.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective action plans.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Swedish and English.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.

Experience in participating in construction meetings and providing valuable contributions to discussions.

Proficiency in conducting safety and environmental inspections, identifying potential hazards, and recommending corrective actions.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing deficiencies in HSE practices.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
