Depending on the role, it usually takes 2-4 weeks (and a bit longer for more popular positions).
I’ve received a practical assignment after I applied. What is that about?
This is also very important. Look at it as an opportunity to show us what you know and what you can do.
What can I expect from the interview process?
We typically have a video interview with the Talent team. This will cover a lot of key competencies for the role (can be found in the JD) as well as how well you match our company values (can be found here on our website). An assignment might be sent for you to complete. We will then arrange 1 or 2 technical interviews with the Hiring Manager and the Head of department. The whole process should take around 2-4 weeks, depending on the role.
How can I prepare for the interview?
Since this is your opportunity to shine, please take some time to prepare. Read the JD thoroughly and pay attention to all the requirements including the soft skills. Do a lot of research about Isar Aerospace, study our career page and our LinkedIn page and posts. Take a look at LinkedIn and your Hiring Manager. What experience does he/she bring? Prepare relevant questions, beyond the basic ones everyone can find online.
I have a video interview, will this impact my chances?
Not at all, most of our hiring happens virtually or in combination with a F2F element.
When am I to expect feedback after the interview?
Depending on the position, it would take 1-2 weeks after each interview.
What happens if I am successful?
Happy days! We will send you an email with your offer and once you accept this, we will send you an electronic contract for you to sign.
What kind of benefits do you offer?

Can I request to work remotely?
Depending on the role! Most roles are either 100% based on site, or, allow some flexibility e.g. 1 or 2 days from home, as agreed with your manager. We also have flexible working times, this will be in our contract of employment.
What happens after I sign my contract?
A week before your start date, you will receive an email from us with some key instructions. Watch out for this email. If you have any questions beforehand, please contact our Talent team.
What if I don't reside in one of the Isar Aerospace subsidiaries?
After signing your contract, if you are relocating from outside Germany, you will be assigned to one agent from our relocation company: Localyze. They will help you with visa/work permit processes, accommodation search, everything needed to get you settled in the country you will start working.
