Inward Investment Manager | Invest in Norrbotten

Here’s your opportunity to join a team that's passionate about the future of Norrbotten!  We are searching for a new Inward Investment Manager with international experience to join our close-knit team based in Luleå.  You will help us to promote and attract investments and companies to our rapidly growing region and play a vital role in the sustainable growth in Norrbotten.

Ideally, you will mirror the uniqueness of our region – dynamic, open to innovation and also adaptable to new challenges both large and small, but overall with the courage and passion to dare to take the lead globally in the green transition and its new economy.

As the Inward Investment Manager you will work with people from all over the world, using our wide network of regional, national, and international business contacts. Your primary focus will be to promote and attract establishments and investments from around the world that contribute to our region’s sustainable growth, and will involve some travel regionally as well as internationally. The role will allow you to grow your knowledge and experiences as you learn about diverse industries and emerging investment areas.

As such you should be a highly motivated person, comfortable with proactively meeting new people across diverse cultures. Your English skills will allow you to connect with new contacts both professionally and socially, with other languages an added bonus.  Ideally with an established network of contacts of your own, you will have experience gained while working abroad or have worked with international organisations before.  As part of a small team, you are able to adapt quickly to different business requirements, and you are as comfortable in the spotlight presenting to audiences as you are assisting with administrative tasks when required.
