About us:

H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. Digital Domain Lead - Digital Site Services

We are looking for a digital domain lead that can lead our team in digital site services. Our digital site services comprise of all digital infrastructure needed to operate the worlds most digitalized steel plant such as networks (fixed and wireless including 5G), on prem data centers, virtual execution environments, network services, video cameras, digitalized physical access controland more. The team is reponsible to secure 24/7 operations of these services, manage all vendor relations, work with continous improvements and have a very service oriented mindset towards our end users.

This position is based in Boden and is part of H2 Green Steel’s Digital Factory Team.

Responsibilities:

•Overall responsible for the team – to set what the teams should deliver on and to ensure that the team has the right prerequisites to reach those goals•Being the overall product owner responsible for roadmap, priorities, technology strategy and service life cycle management for all service areas within Digital Site Services•Responsible for stakeholder management•Business function point of contact•Partner/vendor management•Understands business needs and prioritizations•Responsible to ensure that individuals in the team have a motivating, balanced work environment and have the full understanding of the business impact of the work being done•Responsible for personal growth and continuous feedback•Responsible for the long-term plan for the team: recruitments and development of existing team members

Qualifications:

This role requires a certain level of seniority (5-7 years work experience in relevant areas) which should include managing people and act as a team lead in fast paced software environments.

• Knowledge in domain related processes and best practices
• High awareness and understanding of cybersecurity capabilities and threat mitigation techniques
• Excellent communication skills and a solid track record as a leader of highly capable teams
• Good understanding of access control systems and related technologies

• Knowledge about modern digital architectures, microservices, cloud, programmable networks etc. (where applicable)
• Very good knowledge in operating a highly programmable network environments, related processes and best practices
• Good understanding of data driven operations and capability to use applied AI
• University degree, MSc in computer science or other relevant area
