Your role
We are in an expanding phase, we are five sections and are now looking for a manager to our section Airborne Products and Integration. The section consists of two SW development teams and our Product owners.
You will be involved and driving strategic work regarding competence supply and technology development. You will be responsible for around 15-20 employees where most of your employees have an educational background in Computer Science. You are expected to have a coaching leadership and the will to work with both operational and strategic issues in close collaboration with the rest of the management team in Luleå as well as other Saab sites.
The role includes ensuring that the business reaches its set goals. As Section Manager, you are responsible to run an efficient business with a high delivery capability in software development. You are also responsible that the business uses prescribed processes, methods and tools so that our development assignments can be carried out according to commitments. This applies to our customers' requirements as well as authority requirements and standards. As Section Manager, you are part of the office's management team where you are involved in driving and developing our entire capability and delivery.

Your profile
As a person, you have a great interest in software and are used to dealing with technical decisions. You have the ability and interest to lead, organize and develop our business. As a person, you are committed to your leadership with a desire to see, inspire and motivate your employees. You have experience in leadership and have previously been a manager, team leader, project manager or similar.
You have a technical university education, preferably with a focus on software development. As a person, you are result oriented, something that reflects your way of planning, prioritizing and acting.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
