Night Receptionist (Swedish Lapland)

ICEHOTEL is a world-renowned destination in Jukkasjärvi, Swedish Lapland, famous for its unique hotel built of ice and snow each winter. In addition to offering a once-in-a-lifetime Arctic experience, ICEHOTEL also operates a year-round hotel, restaurant, and activity center. Location: Jukkasjärvi (Kiruna Municipality)

Position Title: Night Receptionist

Start Date: Flexible, but preferably before mid-November

Responsibilities:

- welcoming and assisting guests;

- handling guest check-in and check-out;

- responding to phone calls and emails;

- managing cash register and reconciliations;

- performing computer-based administrative tasks;

- preparing for guest arrivals;

- keeping the lobby and reception tidy and inviting;

- handling sleeping bags, boots, and overalls.

Requirements:

- fluent in English (spoken and written, including complex topics);

- driving licence - cat.B;

- previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar people-oriented roles.

- comfortable working independently and making decisions;

- enjoy night shifts and being awake during the night;

- solution-oriented and responsible;

- like a mix of administrative, practical, and guest-facing tasks.

What the Employer Offers:

- part-time employment with varying hours depending on the season: April 13 – November 30: 22:00–07:00 (10 pm–7 am) OR December 1 – April 12: 21:00–07:00 (9 pm–7 am);

- possibility of seasonal or permanent employment depending on preference;

- rotation: 7 nights on, 7 days off;
