Material Manager

Presentation:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Material Manager to join our team, with deep knowledge of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant components and proven experience in MIDREX technology.

About the Role

As a Material Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient handling, planning, and monitoring of material flows related to our DRI production. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure that the right materials are available at the right time and of the right quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage material planning and logistics related to the operation and maintenance of the DRI plant
• Ensure all components and spare parts are properly specified and available
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimize material flows
• Contribute to cost efficiency and inventory optimization
• Participate in technical reviews and project meetings, especially related to the MIDREX process

Qualifications:

• Technical education in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or equivalent
• Several years of experience working with DRI plants, preferably in a similar role
• Deep understanding of MIDREX technology and its components
• Experience working in international project environments
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written
