We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a Hydrogen Manufacturing Project based in Sweden.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all construction, fabrication, and installation activities meet quality standards, codes, and client specifications. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the energy transition by supporting one of the industry's most innovative green energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and quality control activities across all phases of the hydrogen plant construction and commissioning.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of piping, mechanical equipment, structural steel, and welding work in accordance with project standards (ASME, ISO, AWS, etc.).
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures to verify compliance.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to quality plans and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
  • Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs), support root cause analysis, and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test reports, and material certifications.
  • Support audits, punch lists, and turnover documentation in collaboration with QA/QC teams.
  • Ensure HSE compliance during all inspection activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector in industrial construction projects (oil & gas, energy, or hydrogen preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of welding, piping, mechanical, and structural inspection methods.
  • Certification in one or more of the following: AWS CWI, CSWIP, API 570/653/510, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and QA/QC systems in major capital projects.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to project excellence.
