About the Role
As a Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in expanding ALS Geochemistry’s market presence across the Nordics. Our sample preparation laboratories are strategically located across Sweden, Finland, and Greenland. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions in collaboration with our laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute targeted initiatives within the mining and exploration sectors
- Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to closing and post-sale follow-up
- Collaborate with laboratory teams to deliver customized analytical solutions
- Represent ALS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings throughout the Nordics
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions
- Contribute to long-term business planning and strategy for the Nordic region
- This role includes personnel responsibility
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially driven individual who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment. You are a confident communicator and relationship builder, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in business development or technical sales, ideally within the mining or related industries
- Strong technical curiosity combined with a strategic business mindset
- Academic background in geoscience, mining engineering, chemistry, or a related field
- Fluent in English and Swedish; proficiency in Finnish is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly to meet clients both on-site and in office settings

Full-time permanent position with a six-month probation period
Location: This position can be based at one of our ALS offices in Sweden, preferably at our office in Piteå.
