The Norra Gruva Mine planning section has the task of conducting LKAB's ore exploration and mine planning of the raw ore in the Kiruna underground mine. NGG houses operations for Geology, Infill drilling, Rock Mechanics, Surveying and Planning, which in unison are responsible for the mine's future strategic investments and ongoing mine plans.

About the service:

Mine planning is currently implementing new softwares and thus/therefore developing new workflows. If you want to be involved in taking mine planning into the future, we are interested in you!

The MDM administrator is an integral part of the mine planning team. You are responsible for the Deswik MDM database, which includes working actively with the implementation of Deswik. You will administer Deswik MDM database content, users and roles. Create process maps and workflows including instructions for users.

The Deswik MDM will include all mine planning related information, so that we can make informed and better decisions about the future of the mine. Work to include production staff within Norra Gruva for our new way of working. The service means that you need to cooperate with all parts of LKAB that are affected by mining operations.

Your qualifications:

We are happy to see that you who are applying have relevant technical university / college education or that you have experience of similar tasks.

Good knowledge / experience in the application of CAD systems is necessary and experience from working with mine planning tools such as Deswik and Microstation is an advantage.

Whether you are a senior and have long experience or you are at the beginning of your career, we are interested in you.

Ability to work together and good communication are highly valued. Good knowledge of the mine's mining method and construction is an advantage. B driving license is a requirement.
