In this role you will maintain and develop costing and profitability reporting for SSAB steel divisions and take part to Group Finance harmonization work. Location will be Oxelösund, Borlänge, Luleå, Raahe, Helsinki or Hämeenlinna.

We are looking for a Product Costing Business Controller for SSAB Group. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of product costing development work in SSAB steel divisions. Product costing is a group supporting function that delivers support in Finance, Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain and Production.

The job

Key tasks and requirements for the role.

Your role consists of developing and running SSAB costing system. You will participate and drive product costing development and harmonization between the mills. To be successful in the role, you have strong analytical skills and you are willing to learn more about SSAB steel products and production processes as well as SSAB’s financial guidelines and processes.

You are able to keep focus even under pressure and can proactively manage your own work to meet team goals. You understand relational databases and SQL and can define technical specifications for system specialists. You also have a great networking and collaboration skills and you can communicate fluently in English.

We are looking for a person who has couple years of experience of finance/controlling. The role requires regular travelling.

Your qualifications

• University/Bachelor degree or similar
• Knowledge from product cost calculations, operations controlling and analyses
• IT skills, i.e. relational data warehouses, SQL, Office and reporting tools
• Knowledge and experience of products and production processes in steel mills
• Collaboration skills
• Fluent in English
• Good communication skills
• Business understanding skills
