Our main office and development is located in Luleå, and our marketing and sales office is located in Stockholm. As of 2021 we also have a third office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. All our offices are centrally located, close to public communication and services.

About the Position

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Spotin we want you to have more than 5 years of relevant experience. In this dynamic role and you will take the lead on a variety of engaging frontend tasks, while collaborating with our remarkable team of skilled developers.

You will work closely with other frontend developers as well as our CTO. In this role you will have a crucial part in strengthening the framework of our growing development team and projects. With our organization experiencing rapid expansion both within Sweden and internationally in the forthcoming years, we're relying on you to spearhead a multitude of frontend tasks. Your technical guidance will be invaluable in aiding our team to navigate this period of significant growth.

A successful candidate will contribute to ongoing coding related tasks/features and may also contribute to scaling and managing Spotin's frontend team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Practical experience in the field of computer science

5 years of proven software development experience

Preferably located in Luleå, Sweden, or alternatively Stockholm (or willing to relocate permanently)

Technical Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of software development and related concepts in general

Ability to develop high quality frontend backbones for web applications

Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3

Good understanding of PHP and backend as well as relational databases

Solid knowledge in working with RESTful API:s and JSON data

Experience working with source control versioning systems (such as Git)

Model View Controller (MVC) architecture

Test Driven Development (TDD)

Good understanding of Bash scripting

Feeling convenient working in Unix/Linux development environments (macOS or Linux)

It's a plus if you have experience with:

SASS

BEM

Vue, React, Angular frameworks

Nginx server

Webb-security

Node

Build Tools (e.g. web pack)
