About the position

We at Perido are now looking for a Director of Business Control for our client in Skellefteå. You will be a part of further building up and developing the local finance team and strengthening current processes in place as well as implementing additional requirements needed for the next phase of growth and operations. The current team consists of 3 employees but will eventually grow over time. The office is located in Skellefteå with the possibility to work from home part-time.

Your daily tasks

As Director of Business Control you will be a critical member of the local leadership team, and you will bring a finance perspective to the full set of tasks, focusing on manufacturing planning, execution and follow-up.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Keep a clear-eyed perspective on financing, spend, profitability & drive working capital to secure long-term value creation
  • Participate in reviewing and refining the business case, budget, and forecasts in the overall strategy
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, both as part of manufacturing, local leadership teams and the overall finance team
  • Act as a business partner to the manufacturing management team covering all parts of future production operations
  • Be GPO for finance processes for manufacturing and production

  • 10+ years of experience in finance including production controlling positions
  • Sector-specific knowledge in manufacturing, or adjacent production industries
  • Confidence and ability to build strong and challenging working relations with Commercial and Technical teams
  • Communication skills and the experience needed to lead a cross-functional project team working on major undertakings
  • Excellent skills in English, written and spoken


  • Good communication skills in Swedish

Contract type and hours

Full-time, employment directly with the client company. Start as soon as possible.
